It takes a day to create a collection as it is not just a 1.2,3 process.  Let alone turn them into printable data for you to print out once you purchase.  The pat file can be used on machines which is another piece of the creation as well as an image file.

When making patterns, the outlining is done to give it dimension.  You can go by our outline or you can forego it and use your own.  Either way, it is a couple day process, and since time is money thus figures the structure of our pricing..
