Whip amd Stitch was started out of a love for Cross Stitch and the lack of beig able to find the types of patterns that we liked !!!

So, if I can't find what I like others can't find it either !!! so hense here we are.

We use several artists art here at Whip and Stitch and do our own creative twist to the patterns to try to give you a variety to work with and a variety to choose from. We are ever growing and creating so be sure to check back often to see what is new here

We use a couple different programs here, PC Stitch,  Cross Stitch Professional, Mac Stitch, Embird and Pattern Maker.  All the names speak for themselves.  It is your responsibility to be sure you know which pattern you are purchasing as we have a No Refund Policy.  Once you purchase the pattern, there is no refund. [Pattern Maker produces large JPG files with the pattern and chart - easy peay to use] We use a pen tablet to create all the patterns, and do much work by single pixel/stitch.  All outlining is done by drawing the outlines on the design stitch by stitch.  Not a one two three job.  It might take one day to complete a collection, due to many factors.  One the art we use.  Two, the ho hum drum of real life does play a huge factor, and from which system we use. [we have a mac and a pc lap top]

It is not uncommon to receive your patterns and ledgend via either a jpg file + text File, or a pdf file.  If received as a pdf file I have configued the ledgend at the end of the file and enabled you to be able to print the file so that you can match up the pages with the pattern.  The pattern is split among a particular number of pages to prevent theft.  They are easy to match up and tape together as I have added key arrows to the pattern.

Each Pattern is done basically on white Ada Cloth

Our patterns are created geared toward 10 count Ada cloth and occasionally 14 count Ada.  The 10 Count ada cloth makes  much nicer finished design.  However you can use any cloth you prefer from Hardanger to ada, linen, and many others.  Your pattern you receive is large enough that you can adapt it to any.  This includes sweatshirts, towels, blankets, quilts.

Many of our items are sold in collectios only.  We will not vary from that so please don't ask.  We also offer limited collectios which meams only a specific number of sales.  Once that number has been reached, then it will no longer be available.

All collections are put together using WinRar, WinZip, or Stuffit.

If you are a Macintosh user you most likely have Stuffit. If not there is a free version at stuffit.com

There is a free version of WinRar at winrar.com, and most Pc's can unzip files as that function is built in to all new models.
